AUDITION INFORMATION

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, June 10th, 2026 and will take place in the form of lyrical master class by LA's Maryann Deangelis.

$25 per dancer
Registration is now open on the portal under EVENTS

Audition Times
Grades K–3: 5:00–5:45pm
Grades 4–8: 6:00–6:45pm
Grades 9+: 7:00–7:45pm

Please register for the grade your dancer will be entering for the 2026–2027 season. Auditions are open to all dancers interested in joining DSD’s Competition Team.

Team Commitment & Requirements

Weekly training including 2 ballet classes, technique, acro, in addition to stylized classes
Participation in 2 out of 4 of DSD's summer programs
Attendance at 4 mandatory competitions (January–May; dates released in September 2026)
Participation in the annual spring recital
Attendance at 2 conventions per season

DSD’s Competition Team is an audition-based program designed for dedicated, driven dancers who are ready to grow, train, and perform at a high level.

Placement on the team determines each dancer’s weekly schedule and training commitment.

Team members receive exclusive opportunities including master classes, professional mentorship, photoshoots, and more.
